Metrics for software develpment projects in automotive is one of the most interesting topics discussed in the Automitve SPIN Italia workshops.
Automotive SPIN Italia promotes the establishment of a new Working Group called M.A.S.P. (Metrics for Automotive Software Projects).
The purpose of the MASP working group is to let experts meet together to define a balanced set of useful metrics to be included into the measurement plans of software-intensive system development projects.
The final set of metrics will support the software process improvement according to the Automotive SPICE scheme as well as the conformance with the ISO 26262 standard.
Automotive SPIN Italia members interested in participating in the MASP working group are invited to send a expression of interest to Luigi Buglione (luigi.buglione@eng.it) within March 21, 2011.
The MASP activity plan, schedule and foreseen deliverable will be defined in the next weeks.
