This talk provides an overview of the R156 regulation.
In particular, it addresses the <\/span>status and the scope of the regulation, t<\/span>he regulation split approach, and the r<\/span>equirements on SUMS. The way a<\/span>ssessments, declaration and certification of compliance for SUMS are obtained and the r<\/span>equirements on the vehicle type are described.
